Ginga boys U11 reaches semifinals in European competition

The week of July 10th, 2017 Canada was represented in the 2006 age group, of the Soccer tournament Ibercup held in Barcelona Spain, by Ginga Soccer Academy U11 team. It was a great experience for the boys as they faced true soccer competition that has been fostered to kids at early ages in countries all over the world. They had the opportunity to face opponents from Portugal, South Korea, Spain and USA, all with a different soccer technique that provided the kids with a great insight of what is needed to become an elite team in the world of soccer. Ginga U11 boys made it all the way to semifinals, making them the first Canadian team to make it to the semifinals stage in this tournament, a great accomplishment that left the team hungry for more. They now understand the arduous work, compromise, and discipline required to achieve their goals.

At Ginga Soccer Academy this is just the beginning, we promote hard work, discipline, and competitiveness to achieve our goal of bringing a new level of soccer in Canada for our boys. We have many plans for the future such as attending tournaments in 2018 to USA, Greece and Sao Paulo. This is just the first team to accomplish this; we want to open this opportunity to all those who truly appreciate the game.
